KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter each.
Following this decision taken on Friday, petrol will now be sold at Rs 167 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley, while diesel and kerosene will be priced at Rs 157 per liter each. The NOC said that the new prices will come into effect from Friday midnight.
“Fuel prices in the domestic market has been adjusted as per the new price rates forwarded by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on December 15,” NOC said in a statement.
IOC is the sole supplier of petroleum products to Nepal.
