KATHMANDU: The Department of Passport has suspended passport distribution citing technical reasons.
“Due to some data management issues, passport services have been disrupted at the department, district/area administration offices and Nepali diplomatic missions abroad,” the department said in a notice issued on Friday.
According to the department, services will resume once the technical issues are resolved. “A team of experts is working to address these problems. We request the public’s patience as we aim to restart services soon,” the department added.
