KATHMANDU: A passenger bus heading westward from Kathmandu plunged into Trishuli River on Wednesday morning.
According to Armed Police Force (APF) Joint Spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa, the bus veered off the road near Chalise in Gajuri Rural Municipalit-2 of Dhading at around 11:15 am and plunged into Trishuli River.
“A 16-member team from APF’s Disaster Management Base in Adamghat and eight members, including divers, from Disaster Management Training School, Kurintar, have reached the accident for the rescue operation,” DSP Thapa said.
