KATHMANDU: The recently formed Pilot Association of Nepal (PAN) has announced the first-ever Pilot Summit in Nepal.
According to the organizers, Skywell Pilot Summit-2025 will be held at The Malla Hotel on Saturday. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, is scheduled to attend the event.
The summit aims to enhance pilots’ professionalism, raise public awareness, and promote a safe, organized and professional aviation sector in Nepal. The Pilot Association of Nepal will be formally launched during the event.
“The event’s title sponsor is Skywell Nepal. Skywell is a five-star safety-rated electric SUV manufactured in China, currently exported to 65 countries,” the association said in a statement.
Kailash Babu Gelal, managing director of G Motors Pvt Ltd – the distributor of Skywell in Nepal, expressed delight in collaborating with a sensitive profession like piloting. “This partnership was made possible by the shared commitment of Skywell and pilots to prioritize passenger safety,” he added.
Likewise, Captain Lekhnath Pokhrel, president of the association, praised Skywell’s consistent support and trust from the outset. He described the collaboration between the two safety-focused organizations as exemplary.
