KATHMANDU: Two individuals died, while one was injured in a pickup truck accident in Palpa district on Monday.
According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the pickup truck, carrying poultry products, from Aryabhanjyang to Rampur, fell some 300 meters off the road at Birkot.
One of the deceased has been identified as the jeep owner, Binod Dhungana (46), from Gaptung in Bagnaskali-1 of Palpa. The identity of the other deceased, who is said to be in his 40s, has not been established, police say. Both succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
The condition of the driver, Raj Khadka (30) from Butwal-11, is said to be serious.
