KATHMANDU: Three individuals died in a road accident in Palpa on Wednesday.
According to District Police Office, Palpa, an electric van heading to Mehaldhap from Amalabas with two passengers met with an accident near Pipal Bhanjyang in Rainadevi Chhara Rural Municipality-4. The van fell some 200 meters off the road.
The deceased have been identified as van driver Kamal Rayamajhi (43) of Amalabas and passengers Mukta Bahadur Budhathoki (37) of Rainadevi Chhahara-1 and Ram Bahadur Gaha (41) of Rainadevi Chhahara-4.
The three, who were seriously injured in the accident, were declared dead on arrival at the District Hospital, Palpa.
