KATHMANDU: Prime Minsiter of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Pushpa Kamal Dahal on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
“Heartiest felicitations to Rt Hon’ble Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on becoming Prime Minister of Nepal. As regional partners, Pakistan & Nepal enjoy cordial relations. I look forward to working with him to further strengthen our bilateral ties & regional cooperation,” Shahbaz wrote in his tweet post.
Dahal took the oath of office and secrecy on Monday.
In response, Dahal said he looks forward to working closely with Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif in further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
