KATHMANDU: One individual, who was injured while trying to douse a fire in Anandaban forest of Lalitpur, has died.
According to the District Police Office, Shankar Pahari of Godavari-4 died while undergoing treatment at Burns Ward of Kirtipur Hospital on Tuesday.
Two persons, including Pahari, sustained burn injuries when they were trying to control a fire that broke out on Monday night. The other one is receiving treatment at the Burns Ward.
Police personnel and locals are trying to take the fire under control.
