KATHMANDU: One person died and 38 others were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in Palpa district on Sunday.
According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the bus, heading to Burtibang of Baglung from Butwal, met with an accident near Jordhara in Tinau Rural Municipality-5 of Palpa. “The identity of the deceased hasn’t been ascertained yet,” said DSP Hemendra Sharma, chief of the District Police office, Palpa, to news agency RSS.
All the injured have been sent to Lumbini Medical College for treatment.
