Oli holding meeting with UML ministers

KATHMANDU: Amid rumors of the CPN-UML and Nepali Congress (NC) forming a new government, UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has summoned the ministers from his party for a meeting at his residence on Monday evening.

A member of Oli’s secretariat told Himal Press that all ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Raghubir Mahaseth, have been instructed to attend the meeting at 6:30 pm.

High-level discussions between leaders of the Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML, and CPN (Maoist Center) have intensified after NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba visited Oli’s residence on Saturday and offered his support to form a government. Since then, Oli has also held talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
