Oli elected UML’s parliamentary party leader unopposed

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has been unanimously elected as the party’s parliamentary leader.

A meeting of the members of the House of Representatives of the party held in Kathmandu on Tuesday made the selection unanimously.

Oli’s name was proposed by Vice Chairman Bishnu Poudel and seconded by Deputy Vice Chairman Subash Nembang.

UML has 78 members in the House of Representatives.
