
KATHMANDU: Top leaders from Nepal’s three major political parties have reached Mahottari on the same day.
Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal were all in Mahottari on Thursday for different events.
Prime Minister Oli visited Ramnagar in Gaushala Municipality-1, Mahottari, to inaugurate the Nepal Pulp and Paper Industries. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, he said, “We have no alternative but to move towards self-sufficiency.”
NC President Deuba attended a mass meeting organized by the party in Bholahi of Mahottari. He flew from Kathmandu to Simara and then traveled by road to Mahottari.
Maoist Center Chairperson Dahal participated in different programs organized in Mahottarai on Thursday as part of his party’s ‘Tarai-Madhesh Awakening Campaign’.
Dahal has been engaging actively with party workers and leaders in different parts of Tarai/Madhesh region.
