KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has lowered the price of petrol, and diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 and Rs 10 per liter, respectively.
A meeting of the board of directors of the state-owned petroleum monopoly took a decision to this end on Monday, NOC Spokesperson Manoj Thakur told Himal Press.
The new price will come into effect from Monday midnight.
After the fresh adjustment, petrol will cost Rs 175 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will now be available for Rs 165 per liter each.
The NOC has kept the of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unchanged Rs 1,800 per cylinder.
NOC, however, has lowered the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) for domestic airlines by Rs 10 per liter and for international carriers by $70 per kiloliter.
ATF will now be available for Rs 160 per liter for domestic airlines and $1350 per kiloliter for international airlines.
