New academic session to begin from mid-April

KATHMANDU: The new academic session of schools will begin as usual in mid-April.

Issuing a notice, the School Education Standard Determination Division of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development said the academic session of schools will begin in mid-April and end in mid-March.

According to the center, a cabinet meeting held on January 20 had taken a decision to this end.

The current academic session had begun in mid-May last year due to the COVID pandemic.
