KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index rebounded after snapping a two-day gaining streak in the previous session, closing 13.51 points higher at 2,812.34 points on Tuesday.

With this, the benchmark index returned above the psychological support level of 2,800 points.

Although the index fell to an intraday low of 2,788.03 points after posting marginal early gains, it recovered and hovered around the opening level for most of the session before a late rally pushed it 0.48% higher.
