MAHENDRANAGAR: A young man and his sister from Bhodar in Purchaudi Municipality-4 of Baitadi have been found dead under mysterious circumstances in Karnataka State of India.
Bikram (17) and Sirishma (15), who were in Karnataka with their father Nanda Singh Dhanuk, were found dead on Saturday, according to Nanda Singh’s uncle Jivan Dhami. “People in Karnataka have claimed that the two died due to drowning. However, our friends there say that they were first murdered. There are wounds on both bodies,” Dhami said.
Bikram went to Karnataka six months ago, while Sirishma went there only a month ago.
Nanda Singh has been out of contact after the incident.
“Local authorities were preparing to hand over the bodies to the family for cremation on Monday. But the bodies are still at the local hospital,” Dhami added.
The relatives of the deceased are calling for an investigation into the case.
