KATHMANDU: The Nepali embassy in Abu Dhabi has requested that Nepalis living in Dubai and the northern emirates—Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah—of the UAE visit the newly opened consulate in Deira, Dubai, for consulate and other related services.
According to the embassy, the consulate in Dubai provides services related to passports, labor approval, search and rescue operations for workers, management of repatriation of dead bodies, insurance and compensation processes, legalization, document attestation, civil registration, issuance of no objection certificates (NOCs), and other consular functions.
The embassy has clarified that Nepalis living or working in Abu Dhabi emirate as well as in Al Ain, Al Dhafra and Ruwais, will continue to receive all consular, labour, and attestation services directly from the Embassy in Abu Dhabi, as before.
