KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that all Nepalis in Lebanon are currently safe.
Issuing a press statement on Monday, the ministry stated that continuous efforts are being made to ensure the well-being of Nepalis in Lebanon. “The government is fully aware of the need to ensure the safety and interests of all Nepali citizens in Lebanon in the context of recent developments there,” the ministry said in the statement. “So far, Nepali citizens there are safe and continuous efforts are being made for their convenience.”
The ministry has advised Nepali citizens in Lebanon and their relatives to contact the Nepali Embassy in Cairo at +20109777234 or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at +9849179520 if they need any help.
Likewise, the foreign ministry has requested Nepalis in Lebanon to provide necessary details through a link on the website of the Nepali Embassy in Cairo.
