KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has reiterated that his party would quit the ruling coalition if big parties continue to sideline his party.
Addressing a program organized by the party’s youth wing in Kathmandu on Friday, he said any party showing arrogance will be brought down to their feet. “There are six parties in the government. The government will collapse if one of them withdraws support,” Nepal said. “That is why no one should show arrogance.”
Nepal said the government averted a crisis recently after Prime Minister Pushpa Kumar Dahal showed flexibility in government formation in Sudurpashchim Province. “Our party is now leading a government in Sudurpashchim Province. Likewise, our friends are in the cabinet of different provinces,” Nepal said.
