KATHMANDU: Nepal has sent 22 tons of relief materials for the quake-affected people of Turkey.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, medicines, medical equipment, warm clothes and other daily essentials have been dispatched to Turkey.
The government decided to send relief materials to show solidarity with the rescue and rehabilitation efforts after the February 6 earthquakes.
Magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes, centred in the Kahramanmaras province, affected more than 13 million people, claiming more than 31,000 lives, according to media reports.
