Nepal Police wins Interpol’s video contest

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police has won the ‘Interpol 100 – Global Video Contest for Young Police Leaders.’

Nepal Police was selected as the winner of the contest during the 91st Interpol General Assembly in Vienna on Wednesday.

Nepal Police’s official entry in the competition, titled ‘Save the Planet,’ was produced by Inspector duo Narayan Thapa and Umesh Gurung Shrestha. The video highlights the role of Interpol in addressing challenges such as climate change, natural disasters, and artificial intelligence, as well as its role as a partner of the United Nations in achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

There were 25 entries from 19 Interpol member countries in the competition.
