KATHMANDU: Nepal is playing its fourth match of the Second Round of the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifiers against Bahrain on Tuesday.
The match will be played at Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa at 12:15 am Nepali time.
Nepal conceded a 0-5 defeat in its first match against Bahrain last week.
Nepal is playing both legs of the Second Round of qualifiers against Bahrain away from home after the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ruled Dashrath Stadium unfit to host international matches. Nepal is goalless and pointless after three games in Group H, which also includes Yemen and the UAE. Nepal conceded a 0-2 defeat against Yemen on November 21 last year, while UAE handed Nepal a 0-4 defeat on November 16 of that year.
Nepal is scheduled to play its second-leg matches against UAE on June 6 and against Yemen on June 11.
