
KATHMANDU: Nepal has been drawn alongside hosts India and Sri Lanka in Group B of the SAFF U19 Championship 2025.
Similarly, the Maldives, Bhutan, and Bangladesh are in Group A.
Pakistan is not participating in the seventh edition of the regional U19 men’s football tournament.
The teams will play each other in their group once, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, which will be played on May 15. The final will take place on May 18.
The matches will be played at Golden Jubilee Stadium in Yupia, Arunachal Pradesh, India, from May 9 to 18.
India is the most successful side in SAFF Men’s U19 Football, lifting the title three times—in 2019, 2022, and 2023. Nepal has won the tournament twice—in 2015 and 2017—while Bangladesh lifted the title in 2024.
