KATHMANDU: Nepal and China are set to hold their 15th Diplomatic Consultation Mechanism meeting at the foreign secretary level in Beijing this week.
The Nepali delegation, led by Bharat Raj Paudyal, Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to leave for Beijing on Tuesday. The Chinese delegation will be led by Sun Weidong, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The two sides are expected to discuss various issues, including trade and border relations, regional and international interests, and railways, among others during the two-day meeting that kicks off on Friday.
The 14th Diplomatic Consultation Mechanism meeting was held in Kathmandu in May last year.
