Nepal Army Legal Seminar concludes

KATHMANDU: Nepal Army Legal Seminar, 2024 has concluded in Kathmandu.

The seminar, organized on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the formation of the army’s Judge Advocate General’s Department, began on November 11.

Nepal Army has been organizing the seminar with the objective of enhancing the knowledge of the legal officers serving in the Nepali Army regarding the military justice system and law enforcement.

The seminar featured presentations from representatives of the Nepal Police and the Office of the Attorney General, former judges of the High Court, and former chiefs of the Judge Advocate General’s Department of the Army, among other subject matter experts on related topics, according to a statement issued by the army.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel directed the legal officers to perform their assigned duties within the scope of national and international laws.
