KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is operating a special chartered flight on Kathmandu-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu route on Thursday to facilitate festive travelers.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the national flag carrier said it decided to operate the special flight in response to the recent floods and landslides that have damaged major highways, making surface transport difficult.
NAC will operate 158-seater Airbus A320 aircraft for the flight. The flight will leave Kathmandu at 11 am, while Bhairahawa-Kathmandu flight will depart at 12:30 pm.
NAC has fixed the fare to Bhairahawa at Rs 7,000, while the return flight will cost Rs 3,890.
