NC’s Limbu files nomination for Morang-3 (A)

ITAHARI: Nepali Congress (NC) has fielded Man Bahadur Limbu as its candidate in Morang-3 (A) constituency of Province 1 Assembly.

Limbu is a General Convention delegate of the party and former president of Morang district chapter of Nepal Students Union – the student wing of NC.

The Election Commission had published a new election program for Morang-3 (A) constituency following the demise of NC candidate Shekhar Chandra Thapa on Wednesday. Thapa was also the Minister for Environment and Soil Conservation of the Province 1 Government.

Limbu filed his nomination at Belbari-based election office on Thursday afternoon.

The Election Commission is scheduled to publish the final name list of candidates on Friday.
