KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has formed a Parliamentary Discipline Committee.
The committee was announced during a meeting between working committee members of the parliamentary party and the party’s ministers in the federal government.
Dilendra Prasad Badu has been named coordinator of the committee, according to NC’s Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire.
During the meeting held at NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha, ministers presented work progress reports of their respective ministries.
Speaking at the meeting, NC President Deuba directed ministers of his party to follow the agreement with CPN-UML while discharging their responsibilities. He also directed ministers to reach party headquarters in Sanepa twice a week to listen to the grievances of party workers.
