NC forms 37 departments

KATHMANDU: Nepal Congress (NC) has formed various party departments.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba has nominated members of the Central Working Committee as heads of central departments in accordance with Article 37 (1) (C) of the Nepali Congress Constitution, 2017 (with amendments).

Although the party constitution states that departments should be finalized within six months of the party’s general convention, it took the party nearly three years to nominate heads of the departments.

NC held its 14th General Convention in Kathmandu in December 2021. It has 70 departments.

Earlier, Deuba appointed heads of 17 departments.
