KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition partner, the Nepali Congress, has concluded that the government must improve its performance and delivery.
In a meeting of the party’s incumbent and former office-bearers, and ministers on Thursday, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba said there is a need for better coordination and collaboration among coalition partners.
Deuba convened the meeting amid growing concerns about the working style of the government among the party leaders.
NC Spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said after the meeting that party leaders called for greater coordination and balance among coalition partners.
NC leaders, particularly General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, have consistently expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s functioning.
