NC calls CWC meeting for Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has convened a meeting of its Central Working Committee for 11 am on Tuesday.

Chief Secretary of the NC Central Party Office, Krishna Prasad Poudel, said office-bearers and members of the Central Working Committee, invited members, and chairpersons from all provincial committees have been asked to attend the meeting.

The party has called the Central Working Committee meeting at a time when senior leaders, including the general secretaries, are engaged in the special general convention. The closed-door session of the Special General Convention began on Monday under the leadership of General Secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, among others.

Supporters of the special general convention are preparing to select new leadership through the closed-door session.
