Nature guide dead in rhino attack

KATHMANDU: A nature guide died in a rhino attack in the buffer zone of Bardiya National Park in Bardiya district on Friday.

According to the District Police Office, Bardiya, two others, including a US national, were injured in the incident. “The injured foreign national is receiving treatment at Bhurigaun Municipal Hospital and is out of danger,” it added. “The condition of the other injured is normal.”

The incident occurred in Dalla Community Forest in Mahuvan Municipality-6 of Bardiya.
