KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is set to commence regular flights on Kuala Lumpur-Bhairahawa sector from June 12.
The national flag carrier has launched a promotional fare of Rs 12,700 on Kuala Lumpur-Bhairahwa route. The fare for Kuala Lumpur-Bhairahwa-Kathmandu route is Rs 14,720.
“Nepal Airlines will be launching flights on the Bhairahawa-Kulala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu routes,” NAC Spokesperson Ramesh Poudel told news agency RSS.
According to Poudel, NAC was preparing to start shuttle bus services between Johor Baru and Kuala Lumpur International Airport to facilitate its passengers. Johor Baru lies some 300 km south of Kuala Lumpur.
NAC has already opened bookings for the new flight. Initially, NAC will fly once a week on the route. It plans to increase flight frequency after studying the demand for air seats.
