KATHMANDU: A minor died and two others went missing when an autorickshaw plunged into the Naugad River in Darchula on Monday afternoon.
According to the District Police Office, Darchula, the autorickshaw heading to Ghuligada from Hopagrigad met with an accident at Shaukebagar in Naugad-5.
The deceased has been identified as Aruna Dhami (11).
Police have arrested the driver, Maniram Bhul, for investigation. Maniram’s son Ayush (17) was injured in the incident. He is receiving treatment at Gokuleshwar Hospital.
The identity of the missing has not been established yet, police say.
