Maoist Center reshuffles responsibilities of some leaders

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) has reshuffled the responsibilities of its leaders.

A meeting of office-bearers held on Monday decided to reallocate the responsibilities of the leaders, said party Spokepserson Agni Prasad Sapkota.

According to Sapkota, Matrika Yadav has been named the in-charge of the Madhesh Province. Secretary Lilamani Pokharel, who earlier served as the in-charge of the Madhesh Province, has now been appointed as in-charge of the Liaison Coordination Province.

Deputy General Secretary Haribol Gajurel has been retained as the in-charge of Koshi Province.

Similarly, Standing Committee Member Jayapuri Gharti has been named in-charge of the Kathmandu Valley Special Region, Laxman Pant as the in-charge of the SAARC Region, Ram Karki as the in-charge of the Europe-America Region and Om Sharma as the in-charge of the Asia Region, according to party spokesperson Agni Sapkota.
