KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) has announced the launch of the ‘Party Transformation Campaign’.
The announcement was made during the ongoing central committee meeting of the party on Sunday. The campaign will commence on September 2 and will continue for three months.
Under the campaign, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal will visit one ward in each of the seven provinces of the country and engage with the people at the grassroots level.
“The party organization will be mobilized in a style reminiscent of the people’s war era. The campaign will reflect the aspirations of the people and the national needs,” said Rajan Dahal, a central committee member of the Maoist Center. “The party organization will be deployed in alignment with the government’s goals of good governance, prosperity, and social justice.”
According to Dahal, one of the objectives of the campaign is to inform people about the positive initiatives undertaken by the government.
Chairman Dahal has instructed party leaders to reach the doorsteps of every household in the country.
