KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Sunday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the two leaders held discussions on transitional justice and other contemporary political issues.
Prime Minister Oli’s legal advisor Agni Kharel and CPN (Maoist Centre) Deputy General Secretary, Barshaman Pun were also present in the meeting.
Dahal was absent from the meeting of senior leaders of three parties – Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and Maoist Center – called by Oli on Thursday to resolve differences among the three major parties on the remaining tasks of the peace process.
Oli and NC President Deuba had discussed the remaining tasks of the peace process in the absence of Dahal on Thursday.
