ITAHARI: Police have arrested a man in possession of undisclosed cash from the Nepal-India border area in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-17 of Morang.
According to police, Birendra Sah (41) of Biratnagar-18 was arrested with Rs 1.45 million in cash during a routine check by a temporary police post at Materwa at around 1:30 pm on Tuesday.
Sah was coming to Nepal from India on this motorcycle.
He has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Rani, for further investigation, according to the Koshi Province Police Office, Biratnagar.
