Man held in Pokhara for wife’s murder

POKHARA: Police have arrested a man in Pokhara on the charge of killing his wife.

According to the District Police Office, Kaski, Jahar Singh Kunwar (42) has been arrested for killing his wife Radhika (40) using a knife at their home in Kunwar Tol in Pokhara-8.

Although neighbors had rushed Radhika to Paschimanchal Regional Hospital, doctors pronounced her dead at around 1 am.

Police say Radhika’s body had deep cuts on her head and abdomen. The couple has one son.

Ward Police Office, Baidam, arrested Jahar Singh with the weapon used in the crime. The locals also manhandled Jahar Singh for committing the crime, police said.
