LUMBINI: Santosh Kumar Pandey, the newly-appointed Minister for Youth and Sports of the Lumbini Province Government, was sworn in on Monday.
Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti administered the oath of office and secrecy to Minister Pandey amid a ceremony on Monday afternoon.
Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya, former Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary, ministers and high-ranking officials of the provincial government were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Acharya appointed Pandey as the Minsiter for Youth and Sports on Sunday. He represents Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) Nepal in the provincial government.
