KATHMANDU: Lumbini Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya is seeking a trust vote on Tuesday.
According to Durlabh Pun Magar, secretary of the Lumbini Province Assembly, Acharya will present a vote of confidence motion in the province assembly on Tuesday.
Acharya’s party CPN-UML and his coalition partners Nepali Congress (NC), Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party have issued whips to vote in favor of the vote of confidence motion. Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party have also decided to support the confidence motion.
