KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden is inching closer to lifting the suspension on three party cadres who manhandled party leader Thakur Mohan Shrestha at the party office a few weeks ago.
Although Lingden was adamant about taking action against the three, former chairpersons Pashupati Shamsher Rana and Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani put pressure on him not to take any action.
An office-bearer said the central working committee meeting of the party could lift the suspension on Prem Balayar, Riddhi Pratap Rana, and Nirajan Bam as early as Monday.
The party had initially decided to suspend the three youths for four years and initiate police action against them.
