KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has been sent to the custody of Kathmandu District Police on Monday as the detention hearing in the Swarnalaxmi Cooperative fraud case could not be completed on the day.
The bench of District Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari issued the order, stating that the detention hearing is ongoing.
Since Tuesday is a public holiday, Lamichhane will be presented to the court on Wednesday.
Government attorneys concluded their arguments on Monday, while lawyers representing Lamichhane will present their arguments on Wednesday.
