KATHMANDU: Ravi Lamichhane, former Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), appeared in the Chitwan District Court on Wednesday.
According to sources at the district court, Lamichhane reached the court at 10 am.
The District Government Attorney’s Office, Chitwan, filed a case sheet against Lamichhane in the district court on Tuesday, accusing him of embezzling funds from the Sahara Chitwan Cooperative.
Fourteen others have been made defendants in the case.
