KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition has concluded that there were some instances of misunderstanding and lack of cooperation among the coalition partners in the November 20 election.
Leaders of the coalition parties arrived at the conclusion after reviewing the election on Monday at a meeting held at the Prime Miniter’s official residence at Baluwatar.
Issuing a common statement after the meeting, the coalition parties said: “Despite the clear instructions from the center, there were some incidents of misunderstanding and lack of cooperation in some constituencies during the November 20 election. Such misunderstandings will be assessed and reviewed in the coming days.”
Thanking voters for their trust in the coalition, the coalition partners have expressed commitment to move forward in a unified manner.
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified SOcialist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and Vice Chairman of Rastriya Jana Morcha Durga Poudel represented their respective parties in the meeting.
