KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Technical School (KTS) and Crown Institute of Business and Technology (CIBT), Australia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote technical education in Nepal and create global opportunities for students through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Manoj Paudel, Chairperson of KTS, and Deepak Khadka, CEO of CIBT, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations on Friday.
KTS, renowned for its unwavering commitment to academic excellence in Nepal, is set to further raise educational standards through this strategic alliance. This collaboration seamlessly aligns with CIBT’s expertise in providing quality education in diverse fields, including Accounting, Business, Marketing and Communication, Information Technology, and Leadership and Management.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Manoj Paudel, Chairperson of KTS, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that the MoU is a momentous step forward in their quest to offer education that meets global standards. “Together, we are dedicated to equipping our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in an increasingly competitive world,” he added.
Likewise, Deepak Khadka, CEO of CIBT, said CIBT was thrilled to bring its expertise and experience to Nepal through this collaboration. “Our courses are designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that graduates are ready to make meaningful contributions in their chosen fields,” he added.
On the occasion, Prakash Sharma, National Project Coordinator, ILO, Country Office for Nepal, said the collaboration exemplifies the kind of innovation and cooperation that can drive positive change in the education sector. “It holds the promise of enhancing employability and opening doors to international career pathways,” he added.
