KMC’s budget, policies and programs approved

KATHMANDU: The municipal assembly of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has approved the budget, and policies and programs for the fiscal year 2024/25.

Mayor Balendra Shah announced that the fifth meeting of the 15th convention of the municipal assembly held in Kathmandu on Tuesday has unanimously approved the budget, and policies and programs for the new fiscal year.

The new fiscal year begins on July 16.

KMC has brought a budget of Rs 25.7 billion for 2024/25.
