KMC to screen Nepal’s T20 World Cup matches at three locations

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is set to screen the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup cricket match between Nepal and the Netherlands live at Tundikhel, Tinkune and Hadigaun.

KMC has teamed up with Open Doors Entertainment to organize live screenings in cooperation with the Minister for Youth and Sports.

Nepal is opening its T20 World Cup campaign with a match against the Netherlands at 9:30 pm on Tuesday.

Popular artists like Indira Joshi, Pratap Das, Rachana Rimal and Mahesh Kafle, among others, are performing before the live screening at Tundikhel. There will also be food stalls and snack counters at Tundikhel.

The T20 World Cup features 20 teams pooled in four groups of five teams each. Nepal is in Group D along with the Netherlands, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
