Karnali: Four NC ministers sworn in

SURKHET: Four newly-appointed ministers of the Karnali Province Government have been sworn in.

Province Chief Yagya Raj Joshi administered the oath of office and secrecy to Rajiv Bikram Shah, Ghanashyam Bhandari, Bijaya Budha and Suresh Adhikari of Nepali Congress (NC) amid a ceremony on Sunday.

Shah is the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, while Bhandari has been appointed as the Minister for Social Development, Budha as the Minister for Water Resources and Energy, and Adhikari as Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.

CPN-UML’s Yama Lal Kandel is leading the NC-UML coalition government in the province. UML has four members in the Karnali cabinet, including the Chief Minister.
