KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has recommended the Chief Judges of four high courts.

A meeting of the council held on June 13 decided to appoint Rajan Prasad Bhattarai as the Chief Judge of Biratnagar High Court, Lal Bahadur Kunwar as the Chief Judge of Patan High Court, Hari Prasad Bhandari as the Chief Judge of Surkhet High Court and Rajeshwar Tiwari as the Chief Judge of Tulsipur High Court.

Similarly, the meeting has also decided to transfer High Court Judge Gokarna Dangi from Dipayal High Court to the Birgunj Bench of Janakpur High Court. He was serving as the Chairperson of the Foreign Employment Tribunal.

The meeting also decided to appoint High Court Judge Dr Shanta Sedhai as the Chairperson of the Foreign Employment Tribunal.
